As an editor, you play a pivotal role in shaping the Journal’s reputation and impact.

Editorial Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring the relevance and scientific quality of submitted articles.
• Coordinating with authors, reviewers, and editorial board members.
• Promoting the Journal to increase its visibility and impact in the global academic community.
• Offering scientific expertise to support the Journal

• Assisting in the development of field-specific editorial policies
• Providing expert advice on research integrity and manuscript evaluations
• Overseeing the editorial process and making final publication decisions post-peer review and revisions
• Submitting articles for publication
• Encouraging colleagues to submit their work
• Approaching potential contributors
• Recruiting active and skilled researchers for the Reviewer’s Database
• Helping build a network of authors and reviewers
• Proposing topics for special issues
• Contributing content by writing editorials and other short articles
• Inviting distinguished scientists to join the Editorial Board
• Acting as ambassadors for the Journal
• Promoting the Journal globally
• Highlighting the Journal on social media platforms
• Encouraging peers to register for article alerts
• Promoting the Journal at conferences

We encourage Editorial Board members to represent the Journal at national and international conferences, too to expand the visibility of articles published in PJC.

 You can promote the Journal by:

• Meeting with individual researchers or groups to discuss the benefits of publishing with us
• Displaying marketing materials on tables and poster boards
• Preparing and sharing a presentation about the Journal with attendees
• Including a promotional slide about the Journal in your conference presentations if you are a speaker

Suggesting New Editorial Board Members

When nominating new members for the Editorial Board, consider the following:

• Include individuals from emerging research areas
• Involve experts from leading research institutions in the field
• Represent major subdivisions of the field on the Board
• Ensure diversity in nationality, language, geographic location, and all genders
• Ensure there are sufficient members to handle manuscripts actively.
• Ensure CV of the nominated Editorial member must include all abouve criteria
