Cetirizine, a widely prescribed drug as allergy medication. It is also co-administered with cephalosporins. The methanol: acetonitrile: water in a ratio of 65:5:30 with a pH to 3.2 with phosphoric acid mobile phase was selected to keep the method least expensive. All the validation parameters such as accuracy, precision, repeatability, suitability were checked and were found to be friendly according to ICH guidelines. The LOD and LOQ in each case were evaluated and for cetirizine were found to be 0.001 and 0.003 \u00b5gmL<sup>-1<\/sup>&nbsp;, ceftriaxone 0.06 and 0.211 \u00b5gmL<sup>-1<\/sup>&nbsp;, cephalexin 0.016 and 0.054 \u00b5gmL<sup>-1<\/sup>&nbsp;, cefotaxime 0.012 and 0.04 \u00b5gmL<sup>-1<\/sup>&nbsp;, respectively.
