Malik<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences, HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi, Karachi-75270, Pakistan<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"main_entry\">&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<table border=\"0\" width=\"93%\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" align=\"center\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Received<\/strong><br>04 Mar, 2012<\/td>\n<td align=\"center\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Accepted<\/strong><br>04 Jun, 2012<\/td>\n<td align=\"center\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Published<\/strong><br>04 Dec, 2012<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<div class=\"item abstract\">\n<h4 align=\"justify\">ABSTRACT:&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<p class=\"ql-align-justify\">Twelve compounds have been isolated for the first time from&nbsp;<em>Amberboa ramosa<\/em>&nbsp;namely, octacosanoic acid (1), cinnamicacid (2), 7,8-dihydroxycoumarin (3), 5-hydroxy-7,8-dimethoxyflavone(4), 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,4 -tetramethoxyflavone (5), 5,7,3&#8242;,4&#8242;- tetrahydroxyflavone (6),&nbsp;<em>\u0392<\/em>-amyrin (7),&nbsp;<em>\u0392<\/em><em>&#8211;<\/em>amyrin acetate (8), marrusidin A (9) marrusidin&nbsp;<em>B<\/em>(10), polyodonine (11), stigmasterol 3-O-<em>\u0392<\/em>-D-glucopyranoside (12)respectively. Their structures have been elucidated by EI-MS, HR-EI-MS, HR-FAB-MS,&nbsp;<sup>1<\/sup>H-NMR and&nbsp;<sup>13<\/sup>C-NMR spectroscopic data.
